On Thursday the 1st December 2016 we went to the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
The first place we went to was the Mary Rose. We went around the ship and then went into a classroom and we did a very funny but educational role play, where we had to treat a patient with an old doctor’s kit!
On HMS Warrior we all went into a cabin where we learnt the history of the ship. After that, we split into two groups and while one group interviewed Florence Nightingale the other group inspected the ship’s doctor’s room, where we saw some interesting but dangerous tools.
It was an interesting and educational day.
Thank you very much to the drivers and teachers who arranged the day and took us there.
