GCSE PE students from Years 10, 11 and 13 attended a cricket coaching clinic at the Ageas Bowl in Hampshire. They were coached by Hampshire county cricket coaches on fielding; variation, length and pace of bowling; and front and back foot batting. They were also able to spend time at the cricket ground and gain an insight into fitness and training required by county players. Many of these students are choosing Cricket as one of their assessed sports in GCSE PE so practising these skills is essential.
