Wilton is Open for Business

The Business Challenge and Market Place took place across the whole school on Tuesday this week.

Students have worked extremely hard during their PSHE sessions this term to come up with inspired business ideas which they brought to market on Tuesday afternoon. A range of new brands were advertised and launched across the school. Ideas included crepes, cheesy-chips, churros, smoothies, hot chocolate, face painting, crafts, soaps, photo booths and art experiences.

Students are currently reviewing their business ideas and completing a report to show their profit. The winning mentor groups, those with the highest amount of net profit,  will be able to decide what they spend their profit on (for the benefit of their Mentor group). The remaining money raised will go into the student leadership team fund to spend on items for the school.

There is also a marketing competition judged by the student leadership team. House points will be awarded for 1st (100 points) 2nd (75 points) and 3rd (50 points) place. Results will be shared with everyone next week so watch this space.
