At the start of the new term in January, Wilton students were set the challenge of coming up with a business idea and selling it to the rest of the school on Wednesday 28th February 2018.
The students duly worked in their mentor groups to mind map money making ideas, create a product and market it, with the ultimate goal of selling it to the rest of the school at the market place. This Wednesday, the market place was lively and students were keen to show off their ideas as well as employ a range of sales tactics. There was a wide range of goods for sale from handmade items, including various keyrings, pom-poms, pencil pots and phone holders to the sale of foodstuffs and drinks.
Students have until Monday of next week to sell any remaining items and they will then be required to report back on the money they have made. Prizes will be awarded to the mentor group that has made the most profit.
Well done to all.
