We couldn’t have picked a better day to run our 2nd annual Health and Wellbeing day at Wilton as the sun finally arrived in the UK.

The day was opened by professional adventurer Adrian Hayes who talked to the whole school about his expeditions across deserts, polar ice caps and the highest peaks in the world.

His message was clear about health, fitness and wellbeing and there was a real focus on mental health and how to be resilient. Students then took part in a series of workshops and coaching sessions throughout the day with a health, wellbeing and fitness theme, these included:

Hampshire Cricket Coaching

Pilates

Sports Psychology

Parkour

Healthy Eating

Rugby Coaching

Football Fitness

Freestyle Football

Hockey Coaching

The day is part of the PSHE theme that is delivered across the school and promotes a healthy lifestyle, gives students the opportunity to try new sports, fitness and foods and allows them to reflect on their lifestyle choices and get active.
