In preparation for their study of a Literary Heritage GCSE text from the nineteenth century, Year 9 created their own monsters and spoke for two minutes about the purpose of their creations.

Students spoke about a range of monster topics: from a terrorist-fighting monster, to a monster family who were beneficial to humankind – and even a monster who bites teachers’ toes if they set too much homework!

Much effort was put into this project, with Year 9 really reflecting on the consequence of irresponsibility in the pursuit of knowledge.
