World Book Day at Wilton was a huge success!  The lower school students embraced the experience with gusto.  Having been asked to use a literary text as their inspiration, the array of characters was not only fabulous but inspiring!

In addition to dressing up, the students were challenged to create a “Book in a Jar”.  The end results, all 62 of them, were phenomenal.  The time, the detail and the thought and effort are a credit to our students and their creativity.  The jars, currently on display in the school hall, will also be available for parents to view on Wilton’s very own Book Day on Thursday 23rd March 2017.

The results of the Book in a Jar competition will be announced in assembly and published in next week’s newsletter.

A big thank you goes out to all the students who took part in such a fun and engaging event.
