Y3 enjoyed a trip to Butser Ancient Farm, nestled into the rolling South Downs National Park, on Thursday to conclude their Stone Age history topic. The day began by sitting round an open fire in a Stone Age house that is actually based on real archaeology. They were then able to have a go at doing some archaeology, wattling, cordage and chalk carving. The day was enhanced by the farm animals on site and the beautiful countryside that surrounds the site.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Pavey, Mrs Diffey and Mrs Butcher for transporting the children and helping on the trip. We had a great day.
