On Tuesday, Year 4 caught the ferry to Brownsea Island. We had a fantastic tour guide called Catherine who told us all about the history of the island and about life on the island now. The students were able to ask some of the Little Big Questions that they had generated during our island’s theme planning session.

Brownsea island is home to a lot of wildlife and we were lucky enough to see some of it up close, like the peacock who strutted around in front of us. We had a short break during which the students had a chance to walk through the forest where we managed to spot some red squirrels as well.
