On Thursday 6th July, Year 5 staged an exhibition of the work they have been doing this term. On display were the outcomes of 3 completed SDL modules all based on the theme of journeys. Students have been trying to answer the BIG question:

‘What is a journey’ – investigating it from many different angles.

Year 5 parents were invited to drop in at any time during the day to see the exhibition and also see their children working on their final module, due to be completed on Friday 7th July 2017.

We were pleased to welcome many parents during what turned out to be a very hot day! The class were rightly proud of their achievements and also happy to talk about what had gone wrong along the way; how they had learnt from the experience and how their skills had developed. Year 5 are a class who are keen to explore, research and discover and are building up the resilience to persevere even when things get tough.

Well done Year 5, your teacher is very proud of you!
